Me being cheesy in my new boots!

I was browsing Ebay for some brown leather boots that would meet my requirements and price point, and found a pair that interested me for $79.95 and $10.95 shipping. It seemed like a good deal, but I wanted a better one. I added them to my watch list and went about my life. The day the auction was ending the seller added the make an offer button. I love love love the make an offer button! So in true Shelley fashion I offered her a lower amount I think it was $45. You have to know what you are willing to pay and then offer lower, so they will counter offer something in your price range... but it doesn't always work out. She counter offered $65 (getting warmer) so I countered with $55.
She accepted!!!

Cleo loves shoes too! As soon as I take my shoes off she runs over and cuddles them, it has become a daily thing.



They have some flowers embroidered on the heel, so cute!


Now I can cross brown leather boots off of my non-existent list of wants!

Brown Boots Love

I want some weathered brown boots maybe with a more narrow heel, definitely leather though. Mid calf, nothing that would qualify as uber-sexy... more like wow! those are awesome boots.

Grrrrrrrr

I am so pissed off! Freaking Wamu/Chase screwed up and said my car payment didn't go through, and said I had no $ (liars. I have $). On the way home from work someone tried to run me off the road, and continued to try as I honked at them! So thanks to the jerk in the Subaru Wagon who decided their lane change was more important than driving into the side of someones car!

Thank you Mini Cooper Customer service for being so nice in helping me figure out what happened! At least that makes me feel better!

Shoes!!

The Boyfriend bought me some shoes! (Click on the picture) I love Gladiator style sandles, but they always look weird on me... so these are a great compromise for me! We got them on Zappos.com I thought $72.00 was alot, but these are beautiful in person (plus I didn't buy them ;D ). Zappos for some mysterious and awesome reason gave me free next day shipping! They usually have free 4-5 business day shipping, but next day?!!!

Flowers and PJs

The boyfriend brought me flowers! Since gifts like these are usually few and far between I took a few pictures. They are so pretty! What a sweet guy!



In other news... I made 2 pairs of pajama pants! I love mermaids, I have since I was little. The yellow pair was heavily inspired by http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/20546 they were made with 2 kinds of Heather Ross fabric (which is super amazing). The blue pair is a Michael Miller print. They were both used with Simplicity 5932, which is my trusty pj pattern. It is nice to know that I have some nice pajamas to sleep in now :)

By the way... I will be in Chicago for a quick business trip until Thursday.
